We recently unveiled our newest collection of antique pots in Nigeria, and our customers can’t stop talking about them.
Today, we’re showcasing some of these timeless items that blend raw beauty with rich culture. In addition to being handcrafted for modern spaces, each one of these pots tells a story we love to share.
Here’s a closer look at some of the standout designs in our new collection.
1. The Uri Pot

If there’s one piece that stands out for its mystique, it’s the Uri Pot. Its elongated silhouette is striking, but what we really love most is its burnt brown finish with a washed-down, almost dusty glaze.
For the Uri, no two sides look exactly the same. From one angle, it’s soft cocoa brown. From another, there’s a variation in the brown finishing. It’s difficult to pinpoint how this effect was achieved, and that’s exactly what makes Uri unforgettable!
The name “Uri” also nods to craftsmanship. In the Bible, Uri was the father of Bezalel, the artisan chosen to build sacred spaces with divine skill. This pot honours that legacy.
2. Lake Pot

We named it Lake Pot for its ancestral use in storing water. So it’s a quiet nod to traditional vessels.
Lake Pot has a vintage silhouette and a finish that steals the show everywhere!
The rustic white and the warm brown finish look like they’ve lived through centuries and yet ready for their next chapter in a modern home.
3. Ampora

Ampora is elegance in form. Inspired by amphora vessels of ancient times, it features a broad belly and a gracefully slim neck that draws the eye upward.
This shape, paired with a small foot base, gives it a lifted, airy silhouette, making it ideal for both floor display and elevated stands.
Whether displayed in deep brown or distressed white finishes, this sculptural piece blends antique charm with a modern silhouette that flatters minimalist interiors.
It’s rustic, refined, and rich in personality.
4. Odel

This one’s for those who love big, bold design.
At 100cm tall, Odel commands attention. Its large, rounded belly is a sculptural statement that works best in large spaces.
Whether it’s a large hallway, a hotel lobby, or a corner that needs grounding, you’ve got a match with Odel!
The finish? A calm, matte off-white that allows the form to do all the talking. Subtle, but never silent!
5. Smoked Granite

If you’re looking for something rare, the Smoked Granite pots (Mango and Camelot) are just that. You can’t find them anywhere else!
These two are a confluence of 4 different colours, coming together to give off a dragon effect.
Mango features an asymmetrical, sculptural form. The piece has an organic, almost egg-like shape that’s been deliberately tilted to one side, giving it a dynamic, off-balance appearance.
Camelot takes a bulbous body that tapers toward a narrower neck. The pot has a distinctive colour gradient featuring earthy tones with darker brown areas creating a somewhat flame-like pattern.
Game of Thrones fans, you’ll love this one; it has dragon energy!
Final Thoughts
That’s all we can take for today’s highlight, but our antique pot story has just begun!
Each piece is a blend of story, skill, and soul. Whether you’re styling a residential space, setting up an experience-focused Airbnb, or designing a boutique hotel, Oriental Effect antique pots are more than décor; they’re conversation starters.
